MOFA Minister Joseph Wu joined our pigeon mascots at the Bureau of Consular Affairs today, as members of the public applied for the new version of the #TaiwanPassport, which became available today. Applicants got to choose between #NewYear couplets and a suitcase tag as free gifts for the first day!
The Taiwan passport ranked 32nd in this year’s Henley Passport Index, which puts it well ahead of a certain neighbor in 70th place!
Passport fees remain at NT$1,300 (and NT$900 for under 14s), so why not get your hands on the new version that features #Taiwan in bigger letters on the cover!
